After Hours Care

Please dial 911 immediately in case of an emergency.

If your child has been exposed to or swallowed something, the number for poison control is 800-222-1222.

Children and families need access to medical care and advice at all times. We are committed to providing quality pediatric care 24/7/365.

We have partnered with the pediatric nurse triage service at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to answer your urgent questions when the office is closed. Just call our main number at 770.389.4543 and our answering service will connect you with the nurse service or have the nurse service call you back. Their amazing service will evaluate your situation and make recommendations for the next step. The nurse may advise you to go to urgent care or the emergency department or give you home advice and instructions for follow-up.

One of our providers is always on call if further decisions need to be made. Our office reviews your call to the after-hours nurse and integrates it into your child’s records as appropriate to provide complete, integrated care.

Please note that this service is not for routine medical questions or advice; it is only for urgent matters that may require a trip to the urgent care or ER. There may be a fee associated with calls that are not urgent.

The answering service cannot handle calls regarding appointments, billing, or routine refills. Please use the portal to send your questions or requests or call our office when we are open.
