Your Role as a Pediatric Nurse
Our nurses play an essential role in the care and well-being of our patients and families. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing compassionate, patient-centered care to children and families
- Preparing for and planning visits, greeting and rooming patients, and conducting initial history intake
- Performing in-house lab tests, collecting specimens, and administering vaccines
- Educating patients and families about health and wellness
- Managing follow-up tasks, including diagnostic test results and referrals
- Coordinating care for children with complex needs
- Providing phone advice and support to parents
- Overseeing clinical and lab areas
- Leading and training clinical team members
- Contributing to population health initiatives and quality improvement projects
- Building long-term relationships with patients and their families
